Events

Not everything contributed to an Event needs to be kept forever.

Some items may be duplicates. Some may be casual. Others may become more meaningful only after everyone has had a chance to see them.

Clozeu separates gathering from keeping.

The Event is where people contribute what they have.

Selection is the point where someone decides that a particular item deserves a longer life.

Selected items can then be kept in Collections.

This makes keeping an active choice rather than an automatic consequence of uploading.

The process also allows different people to notice different things.

A photograph that seems ordinary to one person may carry an important memory for another. A small detail may become meaningful because someone explains its story.

Selection gives those moments a chance to be recognised.

In Clozeu, preserving memory is therefore not simply about storing more.

It is about choosing what matters.
